Charlene Keogh’s architectural approach to every interior completes the detailed decorative vision, including custom furniture, finishes and details derived from a thorough working knowledge of construction, furniture design, art and lighting. “I’ve been designing interiors most of my life. It’s what gets me excited and I love working with clients who get excited about the creative process with me. Keogh Design, Inc. (KDI) lists a complete roster of interior commissions, both residential and commercial. Over the years Ms. Keogh’s work has been published in numerous design magazines, including Interior Design, Dwell Magazine, Design Times, and the New York Times. Her work has been featured in the books Spectacular Small Kitchens: Design Ideas for Urban Spaces, Contemporary Kitchens: A Style Portfolio, Retreats to Retirement: Dream Homes to Reality, Asian Influenced Architecture and Design, Shore Décor: Design at the Water’s Edge and Today’s Historic Interiors.
Ms. Keogh is a professional member of ASID, NCIDQ certified, and a licensed Certified Interior Designer (CID) with the State of New York, with over 35 years of experience. Ms. Keogh has been awarded the prestigious AIA’s Excellence in Interior Design. A graduate of Pratt Institute with a BA in Environmental and Interior Design, she had the privilege of working with George Nelson and Ulrich Franzen, both of whom were, and are, continuing influences.
